Hiiii ^_^ ! So anyway, weapons patches now reside on a separate page. The entire site went all kablooey and trippy for a while just so I could prove a point, but it's back to normal now. Fenwar, you can put the Goobgun down now. |

"Your webmaster, young Jackson will be..." |
Posted by Jackson on Monday, June 10, 2002 - 19:40 (PDT) |
In case you haven't been to DF-21 lately or if this is your first visit to our site (welcome!), I'd like to take this time to formally reintroduce myself. I'm Kevin Jackson, and I was just recently given the opportunity to assume the position of webmaster, a post that was previously held by Kevin "Scape Goat" Buscemi and Paul "Fenwar" Fenney. For those of you who have been here over the years, I'm certain you'll agree that I have enormous shoes to fill; both Scape Goat and Fenwar are luminaries, and their contributions to the Dark Forces community are invaluable. Still, I aspire to follow in their footsteps... to bring Dark Forces further into the 21st Century. The webmaster transition is already well underway, but I would like to remind you all that by no means am I alone at the controls of DF-21. Although he will no longer be Head Webmaster, Fenwar has already made clear that he will continue working on the site, especially on its background tasks. Furthermore, we have a truly wonderful staff that works quietly behind the scenes [except when it comes to testing out very loud, carnival-esque color schemes ;-)]. Certainly, Kyle Katarn may be a one-man army, but I am anything but a one man staff. Truly, I am standing on the shoulders of giants, and I thank you for such support! Feel free to email me with any thoughts, ideas or criticisms you may have. Before I go, I'd just like to thank Fenwar again for giving me this remarkable opportunity, the staff for their continual support, and everyone here at DF-21 for making this such a wonderful place. May the Force be with you! |

New Weapon Patch |
Posted by Jackson on Tuesday, June 18, 2002 - 13:31 (PDT) |
TJ13 has released a patch for the assault cannon. The T-2002 Ion Cannon replaces both the images and sounds of the Dark Troopers' weapon of choice, and features a very entertaining death cry (Files/Weapon patches). |
