Not-Exactly-New Article
Posted by Jackson on Saturday, December 6, 2003 - 2:13 (EST)

As Obi-Wan probably wouldn't say: An update? At DF-21?! Now that's a thing I have not seen in a long time.

But yes, it's true. Today, The History Interviews, conducted earlier this year by James Milne (a.k.a. "Burning Gundam"), have finally surfaced in full HTML glory. In the article, seven authors from both the past and the present are asked about their history in DF -- from their first DF creations to their most recent editing endeavors.

I should note that, as the FTP has been a bit funky as of late, I've decided to host the article on my own personal site for the time being. Of course, once we get the Articles section up and running again, I'll move the History Interviews back over.

Needless to say: I'm VERY sorry for the delay, James! Should there ever be another session of History Interviews, I assure you they'll be up much much sooner!

News Archive Updated
Posted by Jackson on Saturday, December 6, 2003 - 21:45 (EST)

Also updated today is our News Archive, which now includes July, August, October and November 2003.

You'll notice that, at least for the moment, September is missing -- that's because, due to the blackout, I didn't have the chance to copy down the news from that month. If any of you would miraculously just so happen to have September's news in your cache, please email me.

(Most likely, I'll just have to wait for The Wayback Machine to catch up to September.)

Second Operation Cakewalk Demo added
Posted by Jackson on Saturday, December 6, 2003 - 22:46 (EST)

New to the Demo Shed today is Operation Cakewalk Demo #2 by Steven Sherber (a.k.a. Kir Kanos).

For the time being, the file is only available offsite, but will be moved over to the DF-21 FTP shortly. (Demos)

Contest Page Updated
Posted by Jackson on Sunday, December 7, 2003 - 1:43 (EST)

At long last, the Secret Base Remakes Competition page has been updated. Congratulations again, Barry!

Also note that the zip file for Nottheking's entry now includes a walkthrough by the author (which is available for viewing here).
