Keiran Halycon

I got this idea while I was reading through the Michael A. Stackpole novel I, Jedi.  It is an awesome story about an X-wing pilot who undergoes Jedi training on Yavin 4 with Master Luke Skywalker.

Parts:
Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker [body, arms, legs]; Dash Rendar [head]; Non-Mail-Away Mace Windu [Cloak]; Darth Vader saber.

Recipe:
This was, I think, one of my best early customs.  I think this was the second one I made.  I used Dash's head because the book said Keiran had a beard and mustache going, and he died it blonde.  Back when I made this, Qui-Gon's head wasn't an option, and I couldn't sculpt for the life of me.  All I really did was swap out heads, and re-paint his robes as shown above.  I chose Vader's saber because the book said he built his saber from a bike-grip and like a muffler pipe or something.  He also said it was kinda ugly, and IMO that sculpt of Vader's saber fits that description rather well. After I painted it a dark brown, and changed the blade from red to silver, the weapon truly fit the part.  In the book, Keiran also wore a black over-robe.  I didn't have the parts to make another figure so he could have a black cloak, so I used Mace's pull-over robe thingy.  I think it looks pretty good.
