Four thousand years prior to Anakin Skywalker’s conversion to the Dark Side, a jedi named Exar Kun became a founder of the Dark Lords of the Sith. While a young jedi on the planet of Dantooine, Exar encountered his first struggle with the Dark Side of the force. During a particularlly brutal lightsaber exercise, Exar defeated his jedi companion. Kun goaded the catlike creature known as Sylvar too much. With jealous rage, Sylvar raked her claws across Kun’s right cheek. It was all Kun could do from killing her. The encounter left Kun scarred both physically and mentally. The following years led to a more intense hate for his own kind. He lived by a simple principle. Win and Rule, no matter the cost.
