Lighter plugin, for JK and MotS 2-4-05 By Sige, an1047@txstate.edu Creates shadows for light sources and surfaces in selected layers. Light will pass through adjoins, except those marked with Blocks Light (0x80000000). Surfaces with Geo=4 will receive shadows. The plugin will calculate it's own lighting, which allows for better precision. JED's lighting can miss some shadow cleaves, but will usually produce similar results. As long as you only use the plugin for lighting, you will be able to undo the results of the plugin (up to JED's normal 5 undos). The plugin now has support for ambient lighting and colored lights (MotS). To specify the ambient lighting amount, which will be added to all vertices in the selected layer, enter the I, R, G, and B values. I is the single color lighting in JK and the non-colored lighting in MotS (software rendering), while R, G, and B are for colored lighting in MotS. 0 is no ambient light, while 1 is full bright. There appears to be a problem with JED's plugin interface though, and the plugin will not be able to do RGB lighting correctly because JED will use the G value for both G and B. You can usually make do with JED's built in lighting after running the plugin, but you will lose ambient lighting and the ability to undo.
